The final step before digging the foundation was a site meeting with the builder and the excavation contractor.We had to verify that the house fit where we wanted it in the building envelope, we had room for our driveway, and we avoided any ledge. Once everything was worked out, the builder staked the house, and the big dig was on. The next step will be pouring the foundation—no turning back now!
